Tales of Arise should arrive today. Giving The Artful Escape a try since it's on gamepass.

Waiting for reviews on Deathloop. If it's like Returnal, I'll probably give it a skip. Honestly can't stand the roguelite genre. "The levels change" Yeah, but the enemy behaviours do not, so it still feels like I'm doing the same shit over and over to get to the new stuff.

Razion EX popped up as coming this month on the Switch eShop-- would definitely recommend it.  This is the SHMUP that was infamously-released as a super-limited physical-only release on NGDev's site and sold out within seconds.

It was physical-only.  They didn't want to do a digital release, for whatever reason.  My guess is that there was enough backlash/requests that they decided to do it.

Regarding the physical release, they've been pretty upfront about everything- they can only afford to have X amount of copies printed at one time and have said they will keep having more (regular) copies printed to meet demand.  They did not expect the game to be as popular as it is.  That's fine...it's just the initial decision to not release an eShop version that was absolutely-baffling.  Especially after they released Gunlord digitally.

These are ports, btw.  NGDev released these games on the Neo-Geo AES, also in super-limited quantities, first.  Gunlord is akin to Turrican and Razion is like Pulstar and Blazing Star.  They also have a Metal Slug clone called Kraut Buster that people are hoping to see get ported.

Will buy Lost Judgment on sale, yeah. Just finished Judgment so no rush to play it, but excited to eventually play it. Judgment was mostly great.
Maybe will by Esp II, great game but I hate rebuying the same Cave games over and over while the company is dead and no new shmups
Probably will pay the $10 to upgrade Death Stranding just to have a better version in my collection. No interest in replaying it. Great game however.
