Man y'all have had way different experiences with mormons than I have.

I'm not really sure what the university could have done differently in the moment. It sounds like they put police/security in place as soon as they were made aware and weren't able to identify the individual (who wasn't even a student there) at the time. It's unclear what was said to the player, but it sure seems like the university is trying to do their best to make it right, even if their response isn't perfect.

I dunno, just my 2 cents. I hope that the student athlete is able to have productive conversations and that any problems at the student event are rectified going forward. That said, my experience with mormons have generally been as positive as any other so I'll try not to let one bad actor tarnish my view of generally good people.

Seems she was with Bungie for… 4 months. And future employers can just search her name and a bunch of hits will come up. Definitely feel like she’s doing more harm to herself by publicizing all of this. I started as an associate and was basically doing “lead” real QA work on my team for over a year. And my first year as an associate rolled into sans associate in my title as is pretty customary, regardless of duties. If you think you deserve a raise based on duties performed you bring that up later at an appropriate time after getting along with your peers and managers. Self claiming a title and creating a hostile work environment (as she said herself) is not the way to do it, at all. Reporting linkedin posts is narc activity though

While we have empathy for its organizers, we are committed as a security provider to protecting our customers even when they run deeply afoul of popular opinion or even our own morals. The policy we articulated last Wednesday remains our policy. We continue to believe that the best way to relegate cyberattacks to the dustbin of history is to give everyone the tools to prevent them.

However, as the pressure campaign escalated, so did the rhetoric on the Kiwifarms site. Feeling attacked, users of the site became even more aggressive. Over the last two weeks, we have proactively reached out to law enforcement in multiple jurisdictions highlighting what we believe are potential criminal acts and imminent threats to human life that were posted to the site.
