That last bit of extra time was some of the most intense, free-wheeling ball of the tournament. I didn’t even care who won and was clenched. If Mbappe could’ve finished on that last touch, it would’ve been a moment to last generations.

everyone shits on FIFA all the time, and for good reason. But they aren't ISIS so i'm gonna give them credit for getting rid of faking injuries and blatant diving. There was almost none of that this tournament. In fact all of the gradual changes they've done over the last 20 years has improved the game massively. (offside rule, banning passing the keeper, getting rid of corner kick-throw ins, getting harsh on tackles from behind etc etc etc)

so well done, FIFA! Now i don't know who bought the hosting for 2026 but they should withdraw that decision and just give it to Sweden instead and they'll have completly redeemed themselves!
