Real answer time.
Killers of the Flower Moon (dir. Martin Scorsese)
The Irishman made me realize Scorsese still got it. And always love Leo in almost everything.
Dune (dir. Denis Villeneuve)
Goddamn those blue balls after
Part 1.
Oppenheimer (dir. Christopher Nolan)
My pet nerd subject of fascination + one of my favorite directors (yes, still).
Zelda (dir. Hidemaro Fujibayashi)
Goddamn do they take their sweet-ass time with these games. Fuck.
ℝ𝔼𝕊𝕀𝔻𝔼ℕ𝕋 𝔼𝕍𝕀𝕃 𝟜 ℝ𝔼𝕄𝔸𝕂𝔼 (dir. Kazunori Kadoi & Yasuhiro Anpo)

I was always on the "RE4 doesn't need a remake" train, but RE2make's critical and player reactions inspire so much hope this project is in the right hands, despite Mikami's obvious absence. Mikami being my favorite director, this should be sacrosanct to me, but RE4make is my most-anticipated game of the last few years. Sorry Zelda, ya took too long and ya lost me to my true love:
Leon S. Kennedy.

Mostly I'm bummed I have nothing
Evangelion-related to look forward to, or a new
Matrix film, and I know Hot D is 2024 too.
