I guess if there's still time and she can still hear, i'd accompany the "good girl" with some gesture she can later recognize as you saying "good girl"

This plus pets and cuddles. My dog is almost 16 years old and mostly deaf. They’ll be able to tell how you feel about them based on how affectionate you are with them.
