I'll be throwing a Super Bowl shindig, complete with the following menu:

Federbeer Home Brew: Super Bowl Select Ale
World Famous Nachos
"Wings on Fire" courtesy of Costco
Fondue complete w/ Yard-o-Beef
Diet Coke and other assorted soft drinks.

By the way, Disposable White Guy, bring some blue cheese for the wings. I forget to get some yesterday.

ironically, i was pretty good at most sports (football/baseball), very good at a few (track/floor hockey), and terrible at fucking basketball. my gym coaches could never figure out why i was so fuckin' bad at shooting hoops. i was great at getting fouled out, though -- i coulda played for the early 90's pistons!

football is just a very stupid sport. again, it's just a flashpoint for nerdy rivalries, and people make up their interest as they cruise along. if i'm gonna pick arbitrary sides in an arbitrary rivalry, i'd rather poop on nintendo fans.

now baseball? i can watch that. STATS.

I agree with Drinky's assessment of sports. I watch football every once in a while when i'm drunk to see people smash into each other. And it's an excuse to drink beer and act stupid at social events. But I'd never watch it alone and I couldn't care less about stats

You're probably right. I know the Colts will probably win, but I'm not rooting for them. I have a feeling this is going to be the worse Superbowl since the Bucs/Raiders one. It could be a blowout especially if Grossman fucks up early.

Right, I don't really care about football. I realized this when I saw the only football game I've seen this year (dragged to it by free tickets), saw how SHITTY the teams are and how much more fun it is to watch the fans get in fights. Probably was especially hectic because it was the Raiders first game (20-0 home game!). Cheap seats have no security so you can watch this guy getting his ass kicked for a few minutes, pretty fun.
