I think its more in the span of time than over time (meaning how many different guys has she screwed within a couple of months or year, not overall). Unless its an obscenely high number over the course of years.

I think sluttiness to girls is more of a thing you are branded if you actually proclaim your active sexuality to people who don't know you. If a girl goes around saying, "Oh yeah, him and I hooked up." often, people are going to call you a slut. If you keep it to yourself, you can still come off as classy.
