I don't get why Tupac got so much praise for this film, it sucks and so does he in it.

Gridlock'd was an alright movie.  That's the best I can say about Tupac's acting career.

Um, no. Tupac is fucking crazy in the movie, and it's played perfectly. There are some who believe that Tupac became so into the role that he wound up playing it in his real life, ultamitely leading to his death

Just because he got "lost" in the character doesn't make his performance that stupendous. The character sucked in concept; like DeNiro's character in Goodfellas, only black and ANGRY AT TEH WORLD.
