Hi there, this is Viz your friendly white alaskan friend on the interwebs. Recently I have heard a number of bitching/complaints/remarks about this forum of ours and honestly I don't follow it.

So Diablos is now gone, who cares, other then his demi insults what else is memorable of him? The Dark Shake wants to be deleted so I hear..
again, why ?

Anyway I keep hearing about this forum having "circlejerks" and I would love to see some examples of said activities because its one of my least favorite internet sights. Gaf has these often and it is one reason why I don't post there. Now we have our share of bad posters, makaveli, FoC, etc, but these people seem harmless to me. I personally have noticed more trolling then "circlejerking" about things... Now I dont like a lot of you, but what can be done to improve evilbore?

well, I don't know about "circlejerks", but say anything critical to MAF, even in jest, and the dynamic duo feels the need to pounce on you and reassert their internet dominance. Not that it bothers me terribly, just sayin'

and although Diablos, shake, nintenho, et al may be annoying, it doesn't seem necessary to me to pluto them. Lock their threads if they get too unbearable, but otherwise, I don't see the problem. There's an ignore feature for a reason.

to expend on what someone said on OA, most threads on this forum are comments about another poster, incoherent personal threads, threads about random in-jokes, or parodies of another poster's actions, and there are too many moderation-sanctioned fads-- all this silliness makes EVB nearly completely incoherent and unreadable

someone's got to put an end to this madness one day or this board's going to keep being the near-derelict laughing stock it currently is

at least on OA there are a bunch of serious threads at any given time on the index, and a bunch of news and political/science/technology updates or whatever... most threads in the "Hot Dog Bar" I can barely understand what most of them are about

if most of you guys are fans of that kind of over the top humor there's nothing wrong with that but that's the reason it turns all those potential contributors off
