Game Theory is a good album. Not amazing imo. There are some real mellow songs on the album that feel out of place.

The first few tracks are great tho

I can't stand that song. I think it's the first Tool song that I truly despise. The lyrics aren't bad, but Jesus, they're not omfg fantastic either and the music is boooooring.

They're good, but I don't think it's nearly the best thing MJK has ever written. The tempo of the song nulls any lyrical quality IMO.

Rosetta Stoned grew on me musically. Lyrically it's trash. But Tool has never been the "master of lyrics" as so many gaffers like to think. Most of their music, outside a few pieces (Jimmy for example) have been VERY straightforward. Exampe: Hush from Opiate. Very simple. But Rosetta Stoned is crap lyrically but musically, I love it. The ranting at the beginning of the song is OBNOXIOUS. Sorry. I can't stand it. They should have left it out and it was even worse live.

The ranting is horrible. It pisses me off even more because the short "song" that comes before Rosetta Stoned is a nice intro and sounds cool. Then you get to Rosetta Stoned and it's like WTF is this shit. But I would up saying "WTF is this shit" a couple times while listening to 10,000 Days...

I like the strange riff, as well as the doctor/nurse/patient conversation. Plus it sounded like a killer intro. I remember being hyped to hear Rosetta Stoned based on GAF jizzing all over it as the greatest Tool song of all time. Then I heard it and thought I might have downloaded the wrong version of the CD
