been doin' some Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch, and have accumulated a fair few honor marks. I wanna exchange 'em for XP and goods. Where do I go?

To either the battleground instance area for the specific battleground or to officer'sclub/champions hall/whatever its called on Horde side. For ally, WSG area is in Ashenvale near entrance to Barrens, the Horde side its just on the other side of the entrance to Barrens from Ashenvale. Arathi Basin quartermaster is at Refuge Point for Ally and behind Hammerfall for Horde(I think). Alterac Valley is up the hill from TM for Ally and not sure about the Horde one. Champions Hall is in Old Town In SW for Alliance and the Horde officer's club is somewhere in Ogrimarr.

Can't turn in marks for XP anymore.  You have to buy stuff from faction quartermasters at their respective locations.  Or buy stuff in the officers' areas in capital cities.

Factions sell items for all levels, Officers' quarters has mostly armor for 60 and above (though you should buy the PVP trinket there as soon as you can).

Is there a officers' area or quartermaster in/near Exodar?

Quartermasters are outside the instance for each battleground.  Which is fucking annoying since the instance portals are always out in the middle of nowhere. 

Officers' Quarters are in Org or Stormwind.  One per faction.

I've never used a BG instance -- I just use the BG rep in whatever town I'm closest to.

There was a time when you had to use the instance to buy stuff or to enter the BG at all.....ugggh. 

Since that's changed I doubt most new players ever learn where they are -- which is a shame, since it's now the only place to get PVP armor when you are below level 60.  The WSG wristbands are a great deal (particularly for casters), and probably the only Epic item easily available to anyone below 60.
