velveeta - is it obsolete?

ever since they started selling those jars of premade nacho cheese, there hasn't been much need to pick up a brick of velveeta.  personally i think it's a good thing because the jars are very convenient to use.  (btw, you're not really supposed to microwave the whole jar and then put it back in fridge - that makes the remainder get kinda funky.  just scoop some out into a bowl and nuke it from there)
