She has been reportedly taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2 p.m. ET. Thursday after a witness says paramedics were pumping her chest when they took her out of the hotel.

Smith, born 39 years ago as Vickie Lynn Hogan, grew up in Mexia, Texas, a town of about 7,000 people located 86 miles south of Dallas. She married at 17, had a son, Daniel, divorced her husband and moved to Houston.

The past year has been a turbulent one for Smith. She's currently facing a paternity suit filed by her ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, who claims he is the father of her infant daughter, Dannielynn. She was born Sept. 7 in the Bahamas. Smith's son, Daniel, 20, died suddenly just days after the baby's birth.

"Larry is devastated," Debra Opri, a lawyer for Birkhead, told CNN. "We hear it's very serious. I've never heard Larry so concerned, he's concerned about Anna and he's concerned about the child."

I'm not saying that she didn't bring a lot of her drama on herself, but man! What a tragic life.

I actually like ANS. I really enjoyed her show just cause she was so crazy. It's true she was fucked up like 90% of the time, but the love for her son was always genuine and she was, I think, at heart a good person.

I always thought the relationship between the two had a certain weirdness about it (which is why people are speculating about the baby). It was mainly felt from the Ana show.
