Don't.  Why would you want to seriously date a girl that's looking for an asshole.  Be who you are.  You seem like a nice guy when it comes to girls, it's better to find a girl that responds positively to that.  If you try to be someone else to get a girl, you're going to find a girl you're incompatible with in the long run.  don't do it.

Yeah.  Honestly, I don't think it has anything to do with you being too nice, but you not actively pursuing them enough.  Take the time to lean in and give her a kiss.  Make a move on her.  Don't wait for her to do it.  That's what's wrong with all the pussies on GAF.  They expect the woman to pursue them EVERY.TIME.

Don't think that.  If you get the feeling that the girl really likes you, just do it.  And a lot of people make it awkward.  Don't make a big deal about it if you kiss her.  Kiss her and then move on right afterwards.  If you dwell on it, it will make it awkward. 

And of course, if by chance she really isn't interested, then you'll get an awkward moment.  But that's a risk you have to take.

i have to concur with those saying that trying to convince girls you're "not too nice to date" is a bad idea.  in fact, setting up any relationship on false pretenses is a horrible notion; eventually, everyone has to be themselves, and the last thing you want is to trick someone into being with you. 

this is all voluntary.  hang out with her a few times, have fun, and play it cool.  i don't think you need to make a move on her prontosaurus to look like a man.  if the two of you start to dig each other in a way that's deeper than friendship, it'll happen naturally.  forcing this shit is bad news.  always always always.
