The only thing more dissappointing then my first time playing MGS was my first time playing MGS Acid.

Shit on a disk.

I never really liked this series. Story is pure shit, don't think it's not.

Gameplay is also just not fun.

You haven't played it. It sucks compared to the original and it's half assed. They put in a bunch of MGS2 moves and features and it makes the game totally easy and takes away apart of the charm of the original. You know how in the first MGS where you fight Ocelot it's basically a chase around the bombs and it's a dual of precision? Well in Twin Snakes, the fight is completely borked because all you have to do is stand there in first person and Ocelot will sit there constantly reloading. You can beat him without moving.

Also, the bonus items you get for beating the game are the same goddamn items from the original. Who the heck wants the same items for the same amount of times completed;etc.? Everyone has played MGS and people were expecting a remake, not a half assed remake with stupid over the top cutscenes. How come games like Resident Evil get great remakes but MGS gets a gameplay broken abomination not even developed by Konami? The fact there were NO extras aside from dogtags is a kick in the nuts for the people who played 1 billion times already.

If only I could find a youtube of Snake surfing on a missle in mid air.

MGS: TS is a port...nothing else.

The card game was shit because I expected some MGS-type gameplay and got pissed off with having to play with cards to blow up a fucking security camera.

The Ocelot fight was completely fucked up but the Psycho Mantis fight DOES make up for it.

The game's more about it's movies, and it's story sucks so I hate it.

There's a reason why splinter cell only copied sneaking, not tranquilizers and porn traps and busted to fucking hell respawning enemies level design and back-tracking.

Willco, get MGA. Despite what Am Nintenho says, it's an amazing game. It requires patience but you won't find a portable strategy game of it's quality anywhere else.
