Yeah Ozzy pretty much wins by default due to their debut album (title song, The Wizard, Evil Woman) and Paranoid (War Pigs, title song, Planet Caravan, Iron Man...nearly every fucking song).

But Heaven and Hell is amazing

Actually, I find the first 2 their weakest. Albums 3 thru 6, when they were getting progressively more into heavy drugs, got better and better. Sabotage, the 6th album, is a mindfuck masterpiece. My favorite album however remains their third, Master of Reality.

Pfft I respect that, but Paranoid is basically a greatest hits album - it's nigh perfect. War Pigs was my favorite song for a long time lol.

Also, though Tony Iommi may not be the best guitar player who ever lived, he IS, in my eyes, the best riff-writer there ever was. Fuck Jimmy Page. I dont think a single band has more memorable and awesome guitar licks as Black Sabbath.

AC/DC. Iommi was amazing at riff writing, but he doesn't touch Young

Also Page isn't really known for being a riff writer; neither is Hendrix for that matter. They were pure guitarists, and miles ahead of everyone else at it.
