Transferring Xbox 360 Save files
« on: February 13, 2007, 02:29:40 PM »
Hey guys,

I lost my Lost Planet save and I was up to level 8. The game's save became corrupted and it refused to boot unless I deleted it. I really have no desire to play through 8 levels of that game again, but I do want to finish the game.

Is it possible to transfer a save to the 360 that I could download or something? Is it possible without like hardware mods or whatever?

Alternatively, is there some kind of level select code?

As long as ROMs are not linked to, it's pretty much fair game.

Why not just run through the game on easy mode? The game is piss easy, even on Normal.

When the 360 has homebrew properly running on it (SOON), you will be able to transfer saves around very easily. As of now, there is one (and only one) way to do it. I not sure if it works but here goes:http://us.codejunkies.com/news_reviews.asp?c=gb&cr=&cs=&r=0&l=&p=10&i=9014&s=8

What I was referring to was modding both boxes, finding your data on the original xbox, copying it, and simply transfering the data to a modded 360.

The reason why I was tiptoing was because the only modding done to the 360 so far has no use but piracy.

Datel makes alotta wonderful gadgets, but I would sooner do it myself using modded boxes. FOR FREE.

EDIT: Asking around, I'm not sure the Action Replay thing has been sucessfully done yet.

Yeah, I don't need to copy xbox data over though. Just freaking 360 data from the internets. Oh well. Gotta buy one of those things.
