Looks like it is indeed coming, not just singer trying to get it done. The WB President said Returns did 100 million less than they hoped but they felt it still restablished Superman and the sequel will come Summer 2009.

They aren't giving him $260 million to make this one :lol

I really liked the movie, but I fail to see why it costed $260 million to make. They could have done all that with $150-200mil imo.
