No, not really. 24 has never been a serious program. This is far less cheesy than Kim being attacked by a cougar or her working for CTU or any number of realitistic reaches. If you're looking at 24 like you'd look at The Wire, you miss the whole point to begin with.
It didn't bother me that he had a father and brother, because a lot of people speculated that he did. What really unnerved people, and understandably so, is that his brother was from the Bluetooth Gang a season ago. What unnerves me is his father's ulterior motives.
