The future is pretty disappointing

Seriously. I feel more sorry for the people who grew up in the 60s expecting to be living on the moon right now and have instead been working in the same shop for the last 20 years (hi mum). I remember reading a newspaper article as a child which predicted male pregnancies by 1999. Hasn't happened, and now I'm beginning to doubt the virtual sex machine will arrive by their predicted year of 2068. :(
