I must say I'm impressed with what I've heard about Cage's passion and interest in the character. Even if I don't like a movie, if I see people are giving their best to make it I really can't knock it as much as a movie where it's obvious people don't care about the final project. Perhaps this is why I have refused to watch F4. I've seen so many news items which give me the impression the actors simply don't know anything about the source material, and apparently neither does the director. God...
Spiderman could have easily become a huge disaster if it fell into the wrong hands, and it almost did on many occassions leading up to 2001. F4 could have been done very well if a talented director/writer got a hold of it first
