Just saw it. It's good because it combines self-aware comedy with Armageddon type comedy where they're trying to make you really care about the characters in the movie.

Just to let you know that not all theater houses report their earnings publically. So theres bound to be some percentage (albeit it very small) of money that didnt show up. Most of them are second hand theaters that show movies a few months later.

Its very possible. But i'm not gonna stir up a hornets nest. You made your bet deal with it.

Theres 3-4 theater houses in the us/canada that own 50-70 screens each that get new movies. Then the countless second hand theaters. I'd say they could have made 40K-120K but thats just a guess.
