Batman Begins is of course best but I do find Batman and Batman Returns vastly under-rated in this "post-Begins" world. I love both dearly. Returns rocks. Easily a top 5 Tim Burton movie.

Damn I found out maybe a year ago that he didn't direct Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my all time favorites. But in terms of all movies he's worked on, it's definitely my favorite Burton movie

I can't respect someone who wouldn't call Pee-wee one of Burton's top 5 movies. Pee-we is one of the greatest comedies of the 80's. But that is just me.

What about Ed Wood? By far Burton's most highly praised and respected movie he did.

And the pee-wee show isn't like the movie. The movie is a comedy, the show is a kiddie saturday morning thing.

How could you see Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish but NOT his magnum opus, Ed Wood? I don't believe that. Ed Wood is probably the only film in his career that is "oscar worthy". Really one of the greatest bio-pics ever done.

Depp's acting was bad? It was considered an Oscar caliber performance. That movie got Martin Landau his Oscar even, which was deserved since he stole the show.
