If a school doesn't have the correct tech support, equipment and guidelines in place, it should not have computer equipment with Internet accessibility. It seems like you've got simply idiotic people who know nothing about it and are too lazy to bring there knowledge of current technology up to speed.

I hope that teacher gets released and she gets retribution in whatever way (so it can act as a smack to the back of the head of the School).

Yeah it's really surprising that a public school district doesn't have an up-to-date OS or any virus protection, it goes on a normal site and the computer will be destroyed.

Unfortunately I've seen many places still working with Windows 98 simply because all its needed for is web browsing. The bare minimum should be 2K but screw spending that amount of chump change for a 7 year old Operating System since you can use the teacher as the fall guy. Total bullshit.

Yeah she was convicted, but she hasn't been sentenced yet. I hope this is appealed.
