Homemade meatloaf ( a rea European-style forcemeat made with veal, good stuff)
Garlic mashed potatoes (whipped up from scratch!)
Steamed green beans
Lambic beer

Homemade chocolate pudding (using imported chocolate) for dessert

Enjoyed it a lot-was a good combination of European food snobbery and Southern comfort.

I dont get the dont like peas stuff people have. Its just kinda weird. Theyre so small and well, its not like tomatoes or onions, i GET that.

I'm going to finish off a packet of Chinese sausage I bought last week. I might stir fry it with some spring onion - keep it simple, I think. Maybe some egg.

I'm going to sit down and enjoy it, now that I have one less thing to have done by morning: an interview just got cancelled, so now I only have two reviews, one feature and a column to finish.
