The awesome chinese place near my house burned down 10 days ago, I probably won't eat chinese until it gets rebuilt.

The same thing happened to this ice cream shop in berkeley named fenton's, I didn't eat ice cream for two years.

and Chinese Food is awesome. The only place thats good, locally, is a place called Dragon Express. The real good place is up in Worcester..its called Ding Ho. And not only is the name a hoot but their Chicken Teriyaki is unf unf unf

I love the Americanized Chinese Food, esp. Kung Pao chicken... the "authentic" stuff either tastes too bland or too disgusting. I love riling up all my Chinese coworkers by telling them I think the Americanized stuff much more than the authentic stuff ;). I can't see the appeal in eating chicken feet, for instance, I tried it and it was nasty... with the greasy skin and all the tiny bones in there...

Scenester: Hell yeah... Thai food is awesome - lots of different vegetables, the sauces are not as "heavy" as Chinese food and it being spicy FTW.
