I reiterate: if you honestly ever visit here while I'm around, I'd be happy to guide you around.  I offered this to typhonsentra over on GAF when he came to Japan...he didn't leave his hotel room for like 90% of his visit.

Be aware that if you were to sign up for JET, it's a minimum year-long commitment.
