According to Dyack, the infamous NeoGAF thread was started as an experiment to expose the lack of accountability in online forums.
bjork :'(
Doing advanced cerebral rock music, heck even psychedelic music, and many more...in a felix cartoon short....about three decades before presley, richard, berry, and the 60s music scene!!!!!! [listen to whole thing]awesome, very very good music [banjo?] [listen to whole thing]bow: felix composers of the 20sbtw, how do you embed youtube? that youtube button doesnt seem to work..
Theres like three pages talking about you Admiral in the Dyack thread btw.
n 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace. 38 years later, Jerry has produced a film about it. Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon's every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell-binding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit, and timeless message.

The Felix cartoons from that era were black and white silents. This cartoon was colorized in the 60s, and I'm guessing that's when the soundtrack was added. The second cartoon doesn't feature an original soundtrack either. The youtube poster replaced the soundtrack with music from Gerry and the Minesweepers, whoever that is.

There used to be one for London Bridges and another crappy song, but they are off youtube. Those were awesome.

Trolling in the demo thread and expressing full-bore negativity in the official thread are two different things. If you can't see that, I can't help you.huh?HK-47 if you are reading this, make an account and invite schuelmaAnd bring Dyack with you

I must remember to return the favor!I wasn't trying to be a dick; I just couldn't believe that music was created before the 60s. Art isn't created in a vacuum. Musicians, along with other types of artists, learn and imitate the work of those who came before them. They can create novel works of art, but these works are still influenced by the past. So a musician, no matter how talented, isn't going to create psychedelic rock 'n' roll music before the creation of rock 'n' roll music. Or, for that matter, postwar-blues! Plus, I think the music in the first video featured an electric bass guitar, which wasn't invented yet.
And bjork?
The only three people on this board whose opinion I'd even consider are Demi's, Crushed's, and Greatness Gone's.
