My only problem with seeing it is that I'm in the awkward period where my High School friends are all leaving, but my College friends aren't back yet.  It is worse that my College friends are also going abroad.  Seeing TDK alone was awkward enough, so a comedy would be overkill for me.

If I had to guess:

Two Hours for the banner.
Four Hours for any sub-banners or dividers.
One Hour for organization in.
Thirty Minutes for any edits that need to be made(I.E. if a banner is too big, spelling issues)

I'd be surprised if they didn't do that for every game. In fact, if I was Maxim's editor, I'd fire the guy that actually wasted time playing the game before reviewing it. Look at the shots/videos supplied by the publisher and/or what you can find online, slap a score on it, and call it a day.

Eventually the price of the PS3, and the development kits, will drop. The SDK's will become easier to use, and the games will continue to be developed. 1st and 3rd party developers will make games, and people will still buy PS3's. We're talking over 500,000,000 potential customers in the major regions, not including the other area's around the world.
