I just got my second ban of all time for a week for the following reason:

Thread whining.

Not only that, I wasn't even whining. I was discussing some shit in one of the many "FUCK GAMESTOP AARGH" threads that exist on the forum, where I did no whining.

You quoted someone who said "no more gamestop threads" and you said "pretty much."

Of course, you then listed reasons WHY, in addition to your other posts where you talked about your own experience, but again, most mods there seem to have either have: severely impaired reading comprehension, or; a blind adherence to the letter of the law without taking the context into consideration.

My issue with achievements and trophies has always been a fear of developers ditching cool awards in favor of some points, a line of text and a thumbnail symbol (or in this case, a trophy icon). If it's actually tied to a reward system, like unlocking new weapons, concept art, and other bonuses, it's fine. I guess I'm more interested in a reward system than one that just measures your progress in the game
