yeah, Kittonwy is so awesome. Nice to have a guy who fluctuates from using forum babyspeak and custom emoticons to incessant fanboy who floods threads of games he doesn't like with long winded rants. Sometimes the two are combined for maximum pleasure.
A lot of people in the "Who on GAF do you like" or whatever it was post, mention they actually enjoy Kittowny. I mean, unless it's to laugh at the mentally handicapped, I can't see how people enjoy reading his posts... best of all isn't he like 35?
It's the mascot effect. Sometimes a guy will tag along and be unique in some simple way that the group takes a liking too, elevating him on that virtue. even if it means encouraging a 35 year old thing that posts baby speak. I just made that up, but I think it sounds almost correct
Things are just reactionary there. If a vocal enough group loves the hell out of kittonwy, praising his every move, then a vocal group of haters will arise in due time. It's kind of what's going on in the update thread with Crushed. His posts were always followed with "OMFG GENIUS" and eventually he got deleted from Gaf altogether. It works inversely too-- just at the PS3. Hated like hell, now it has a very vocal fanboy syndicate.
So what I'm saying is, in order to get rid of Kittonwy, we'll have to say we love him.
