One thing that disturbs me about GAF (among many other things) is that you can post whatever bizarre bullshit you want and then claim to be the poor, battered victim when called on it.  Especially if it is sexual.  You could masturbate with your shit but if anyone calls you out on it, all you have to do is whine about how sexually uptight the United States is and how society judges you.

But lol at his assessment -- EB has a monopoly on GAF's best posters (drohne, drinky, frag, et al), its moderation policies are less strict, and its threads are easier to navigate (in gaming and OT) because the forum is smaller and there's far less fanboy bickering. Oh, and fewer libertarians is always a plus.

I've never been banned at GAF, but I rarely post there anymore.

So there's evidence for big bang...in star movement/expansion...no. That's why string-verse and multi-verse theories were made up to cover the obvious flaws in big bang. Have you ever seen a cat give birth to a non-cat or any animal of one type give birth to an animal of a different type? Certainly if it happened so long ago we'd either still be seeing it today or we'd see as many "missing link" fossils as there are other fossils...but we haven't. That's why newer theories like "hyper evolution" are made to suggest that rapid possitive mutations jump up every few million years but this ignores the FACT that mutations are never possitive and never add new genetic information, they just mix up existing genetic code.

HIMUMU CREATES WORST THREAD EVER

I'm playing Final Fantasy VIII for the umteenth time here. I play it annually. It is the game of the forever.

This debate has been going on ever since the game came out, but dammit it's always fun to have.

Anyways, I'm up to disc 3. My good man Hadji (FREE HADJI!!!) brought up on msn last night to pay attention to what Cid and Edea say when you meet them at the orphanage and what Squall is thinking at the time.

The scene is all about Utlimecia. This is the first time Ultimecia is even brought up in the game.

Now, Cid and Edea are talking about Ultimecia and that she wants to use Ellone to go back in the past. At the same time, Squall's thinking about poor Rinoa, who's in the Garden infirmary in a coma, wishing he could go back in time and express his feelings better.

It's just curious that Squall thinks of Rinoa IMMEDIATELY after they talk about Ultimecia for the first time.

Then there's the fact there's Griever, who Ultimecia uses in the final battle of the game. As we all know, Rinoa, had Zell make a copy of Squall's Griever ring. How did Ultimecia know what Griever was, much less, know its name?

Then there's the much more important question: Why would Ultimecia want to go back in the past in the first place?
