I can understand his enthusiasm, though. About Killzone 2, I mean. As someone else put it, it's all smoke and mirrors and doesn't necessarily always hold up to close scrutiny, but the game really does look absolutely fucking spectacular. I don't think any reasonable person is going to claim that it trumps Crysis on a technical level, but the resulting image is easily as striking. If you're going to throw insults around, you may want to reserve some of them for those who blindly disagree with the guy.
I agree with DCharlie though (even though he somehow seems to always end up at the center of all these disputes) in that I'm not sure what Killzone 2 (or Crysis, for that matter) has to do with multi-platform game quality. And the technology really isn't what makes that game look as remarkable as it does, anyway; it's nice that there is a tech base that is capable of realizing their vision, but some people seem to damned near revere it. I'm impressed by how stable it is, but that's squarely because I was expecting much less from the sequel to Killzone.
