I will fully admit to being one of those guys but I will also admit that at that time, I didn't know shit about the US auto industry. All I knew was that they made SUVs and that they're automatically bad so these manufacturers are automatically bad so I could not wait until their downfall.
This is much of GAF's assessment of the auto companies. Combined with the GAF collective hair trigger temper, any car company that made an SUV in America is automatically evil, rife with upper management corruption, and should collapse immediately, not knowing or caring what effects there will be felt if such a thing were to happen. Then they eagerly await Japanese auto companies to move in because they're smaller, more fuel efficient, and feeds into their weeaboo fantasies of Japan taking over their daily lives. These are the same distinguished mentally-challenged fellows that buy Pocky not for the taste and listen exclusively to J-Pop while dismissing American pop as shallow.
There's a lot of changes that need to made with the automotive industry but GAF wouldn't really know what that would take.
