because they're filthy poors who need to convince themselves they either need to enjoy something or hate on something to validate their own choices.  People joke that even those who own all consoles are also going to gravitate to one or the other regardless, and while that is probably true due to whatever preferences they may be, it's never on the same level as those who only have that one console.  That LBP sales thread is is a duo of distinguished mentally-challenged fellow with one side hating the game and the other trying their best to defend.  It's one of those threads that I would normally not bother to go into, but with eb down I decided to read it and taken aback by some of the 'arguments' people were trying to use both for and against.

Besides, why in the hell shouldn't God of War III be  ? If the core design is anything like the first two, they should be able to put most of the power to work on pushing out ridiculously good looking visuals. A bit like how Wipeout HD is such a stunner; it doesn't bog itself down with things that we may expect other racing games to deliver, and it's perfectly fine without it.

Let me drop a little a little knowledge on you because you've just made it so ****ing obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Fill rate is one of the primary ways to measure graphics performance - in essence, it’s a number describing how many pixel operations you can perform. The fill rate on the PS3 is significantly slower than on the 360, meaning that games either have to run at lower resolution or use simpler shader effects to achieve the same performance.

Additionally, the shader processing on the ps3 is significantly slower than on the 360, which means that a normal map takes more fill rate to draw on the ps3 than it does on the 360. And I’m not talking about small differences here, we’re talking roughly half the pixel pushing power.

Sony let their hardware be designed by a commodity of business interests rather than a well thought out design that would serve the game development community. They are going to lose hard this round because of it, and I hope that in the next round they take lessons from this round and produce a more balanced and usable machine.

So let me ask you one thing, if the PlayStation 3 can output 2160P(it can't), how come games can BARELY hit the target resolutions?  Call of Duty 4 doesn't run at 720p native on the Playstation 3  but it does with EASE on the Xbox 360.

I'd also like a list of all those PS3 games that allow up to 7 players PER-CONSOLE.
