some suggestions:
- Shoot for thirty minutes, maybe a little bleed in either direction, but no more than forty-five. The "Video Game Show" podcast
sticks to a fairly rigid thirty minute show, and remains entertaining. I personally lose interest in podcasts after about an hour, so
I'm just going by that. Plus, thirty minutes = less editing.
- Weekly or bi-weekly (bi-weekly is probably best at first, given scheduling and maintaining a level of enthusiasm)
- Small cast (4), can rotate members when "regulars" aren't available
- If it's going to be about games, fuck the new stuff, as that's well-covered in plenty of casts which have access to previews and
such. You could maybe have a segment at the beginning to address new releases or any news of note, but I wouldn't spend more
than five or ten minutes on it. My idea is for each cast to focus on a specific year or release period, where each member would
pick a game from that year/period, play it, and talk about the plusses/minuses. At the end of each cast you'd suggest where to
find the games.
