Honestly, I wouldn't know the feeling, so I can't help empathize (I've had a total of two girlfriends in my lifetime... and never made it to... what? 1st or second base? I don't know what the bases are. I'm assuming home plate is marriage... so is 3rd sex? Or depending on values is 3rd marraige and home pregnancy? Is second the first kiss? Is first the "first date"? I'd imagine there's some self segregation in Canada (you know, like everywhere else) but I've never heard anything about it not being tolerant. The academic world needs to recognize this obsession with all-things-asian as a mental disorder and include it in the DSM. Reminds me of Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now.

Both share rich cultures and horrible teeth. I get the feeling that much of the obsession has more to do with pop cultural stuff (videogames, anime, etc) than anything more...concrete. Like Sporsks living in Japan for ages and not really going anywhere outside of the downtown gaming areas. If I went to Japan I'd be sight seeing all the beautiful areas, especially the country side which is great

the problem with N'gai (and others, like Totilio) is that keep thinking they're some amazing insightful journalist when the only thing they do different than the IGN guys is focus on sales. It would also help if they wrote at least one piece that could be considered insightful. I mean, N'gai will be remembered for calling Resident Evil Racist; Totilio will be remembered for playing video games with Soyja Boy.

I still think that the only good thing N'gai ever done was praising The Club.

You should sign up for gamefly, it's really great for plaing all the games you might never had before. You can also trade in games towards your membership fees which is a bonus if you need to clear out old shit anyway.

You should also sign up under me so I can get $20. Or not, whatever.
