That would be more of a success than its marketing has earned it. I can't believe how badly Sony screwed that one up. One of the most marketable games around, with symbolism built in, incredible audiovisual presentation and a successful blend of classic warfare and sci-fi elements, and its release is accompanied by a marketing "campaign" that begins and ends with sporadic showings of a fucking bullet commercial. I'm not sure why I'm even surprised, what with Sony's track record this generation being what it is, but I am.

I don't think anyone realistically expects Sony to have a system seller on their hands at this point. Maybe Gran Turismo and God of War III, but the only true system seller will be a serious price drop. The Ps3 is expensive.
