Someone explain this to me. Having to buy an add on to make the thing enjoyable is hilarious already but how could anyone prefer the DS3 to the 360 pad? The DS3 is HORRIBLE aside from the D-Pad.

Triggers and thumbsticks are inferior, but the shoulder and face buttons are better. There's also the matter of weight and presence, with some liking the lower weight and overall feel.

It's really frustrating. Super Mario Galaxy proves that Nintendo has the ability to create the best game ever, but those gems are rare. Although, how different is this really from Nintendo of the past? Gamecube had the odd gem, but it was also riddled with crap.

Huh? It was far better than pushing buttons/using the d-pad. Once you get the hang of the controls you start having lots of fun; hell just killing regular enemies becomes a variety fest of you trying out different shit.

The game was directed by the dude who did the prior handheld games (seems Nintendo snatched him and some other team members up after Capcom dissolved Flagship)
