I think it was Hugo Weaving who did it in the movie, originally Megatron had that really grating metal voice in the series (can't remember the movie).

I didn't mind whether they followed the cartoon or not generally, but in the extras on the DVD they did an example of old and new voices to demonstrate how the new voice is 'better', and even my mum said the old voice was ridiculously better.

Also, of the cars in that vid, two won't be sold here (Chevy Trax and Chevy Beat, the funky colored ones), one's a concept (Chevy Corvette Stingray concept, the silver one), one won't be on sale for another year and a half at least (Chevy Volt, the blue one),one was just discontinued (GMC TopKick, the one with the smokestacks that isn't quite as big as Optimus Prime, but could still crush the other ones), and one's on sale, but with a different look (Chevy Camaro, the yellowish one). smh, GM...
