I don't see how Toy Soldier's room differs from the various nerd hovels I've seen posted.  I don't really get how hanging up posters of anime featuring blue haired lolis is somehow better than a tacky framed portrait of a girl with comically large boobs.  Same goes for that Britney Spears merchandise and the little toy figurines.

The girl pillow dude creeps me out.  I feel guilty because if/when he snaps and molests or rapes, I'd feel bad for seeing the signs and not doing anything about it.  I just don't have much of a tolerance for guys on the internet that live in an alternate reality when it comes to sexuality (I'm not counting the sharp knees set, which is just nothing more than internet egotism; I'm talking loli lovers, furries, guys who go through great pains to point out the differences between pedophilia and ephebophilia like we somehow give a fuck because they missed the point entirely, etc.) but maybe that can be attributed to recent arrests of guys like Fritzl and Garrido.  That and that {Mike} thread where he admitted to repeatedly raping his girlfriend.

I had a skin poster up in my first apartment, but that was mostly because the chick in the poster looked like a hotter version of my then girlfriend. I'm pretty sure that had a positive psychological effect on our relationship, or at least my side of it.

Then again, I also don't see anything wrong with having weapons up on the walls. If I didn't have a kid, I'd have more guns laying around than I currently do, and possibly put some on the walls too.

I have a couple of posters but they're not hanging up.  They're in good condition and bought them a while ago so I didn't feel like throwing them away although that is their fate.

I prefer a pretty minimalist set up.  Just the bare essentials and an additional couch if a friend wants to crash for the night.  So that means no posters, no figurines, no general theme.
