I don't think there's anything wrong with a snarky aside here or there. You might have a point if it was the sedition that was derailing the thread, but they actually draw more attention to that kind of stuff when they're banning people. Seriously, look at how fast the thread goes to shit after a couple posters get banned. If people could shut the fuck up, wipe away their tears, and ignore the assholes instead of slapping each other on the ass and posting LOLSYSTEMWARZBAN they'd all be much better off. I mean, really, how hard is that to get?

I believe this was an attempt to have a different conversation, but you're right... it's going to turn into "LOL BANNED"  "LOL DIDN'T READ THE OP HUNH".  This is because 99.99% of people who post on message boards have absolutely nothing worthwhile to say, so they can only express themselves with one-liners or overplayed memes.
