I agree with the above. To talk shit about Britney Spears but then praise generic indiepop like Vampire Weekend is mind boggling. Britney even does choreography. The only advantage is that indie pop/rock members play instruments. That is pretty much the only reason why they would be considered better than other pop artists that don't.
