recommend me 'scent of a woman' and 'wonder boys' type films

i really liked these films and i'd like to see more movies like these.

i guess they both deal with how an older more experienced man (father figure) teaches a younger guy the ropes....or something

any suggestions?

Hmm, after careful consideration, I recommend Ghostbusters II, Short Circuit, Space Jam and the complete season DVD boxset of M.A.N.T.I.S.

I <3 Huckabees.  It's not really a "older guy shows younger guy the ropes" kind of movie, but it's got a similar tone to Wonder Boys imo.
