I watched an entire episode of it for the first time yesterday. Now I've never been a big time TV watcher - outside of sports and the inevitable guilty pleasure (IE Flavor of Love), I don't watch anything. Never seen Lost. Never seen House. Never seen The Shield, etc etc etc.
But god dammit 24 blew me away. In the episode the Sec. of Defense got kidnapped by some arab terrorists, who broadcasted the live feed on national TV. Anyway the president decided to BLOW UP the area where the terrorists were, thus killing everyone instead of allowing them to do it. But Jack Bauer is all like "fuck this I'm going in!" and he goes into the compound with a god damned handgun. He saves the Sec. of Defense and gives him a gun! Now I can't imagine Condi Rice getting a gun and killing terrorists.

Then there were all these side stories, like this family who apparently were tied with the terrorists. The father tried to have his own son killed, but he escaped lol. And god dammit his mom is hot! I like her accent, and she has sexy eyes for a terrorist.
Sweet show. I'm going to buy the DVD and watch the show from the beginning. Has it been canceled?
