Casino Royale has a 7.9 at IMDB and a 94% at RT. And is the most successful Bond movie at the domestic and world-wide box office by a large margin.

TVC, Shake is one of the few mainstream film goes to not love this film ignore his opinion on this. I normally agree with his movie reviews, I don't get his crusade against this trying to make it seem like it wasn't well loved by non-Bond fans.

I am clueless why he is taking such a strong anti-Casino Royale opinion and trying to sway people against the film. I mean saying there has been a turnaround on this film and people turned against it is absurd. And only Bond fans liked it? Crazy. He really doesn't want people to check this movie out for some reason.

The fact that it was universally well reviewed and well received, and the highest grossing Bond movie ever is enough to know who is right and who is wrong on this matter. Hell, you need not look further than the GAF CR thread, which was basically a circ-jerk to CR's greatness.

One of the only GAF threads I enjoyed, honestly. I saw CR three times, and I enjoyed it even more each time I saw it.

How am I wrong? I thought TD was a great film, and so did a shitload of other people; just because I liked it more than CR doesn't mean you need to get into damage control mode and start picketing the Departed.
