So many of you have been asking me "What's ether?" Funny, because many of you guys are walking examples of the after effects. Ether is not to be toyed with. It's harmful. After the original Ether, Jigga spent the rest of his career hiding his eyes below a fitted cap, just from the shame. Ever since Nas released this classic it's synonymous with the complete and total obliteration of an opponent.

Well, without further adieu, I present MY COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS

After the lesson, feel free to ask the teacher questions. When you're finished, bow down and kiss tha ring. I'm out.

I'm like a country wild western, rhyme style murderer
X-Ecutioners, cuttin things you never heard of
Flip new beats, never once flipped a burger
But I flame-broil, and still remain loyal
On the hip-hop throne, and most kings I been doin it
Rock, Rob, Joe, and Big E is one unit
Supreme force, ever since Main Source, my nicca
Shoulda had yo ass drunk like liqour, in a stuper
Got to stay super, with the Cash Flow
Never bashful, here's what you asked fo'
The best DJ's in the world today
Cuttin up 'Rock the Bells' LL Cool J
and many more, Robbie Swift and he raw
Roc Raida, number one chop innovator
Total Eclipse, man you know that he flips
and he diminished the, record like my man Joe Sinister
I'ma lay back and watch 'em bless the track
For the hip-hop world, cuz these brothers don't slack
They always comin with the up-to-par
You can call X-Ecutioners the best by far...

Knowhatmsayin? Yeah..
Knowhatmsayin? Word up..

Yo, I take you back to the cave man era
Survival and how to live, on ways I get better
I'm too deep to peek, rock niggaz to sleep
I'm like a four star general, out in the street
Keep my business low, represent Cash Flow
Bustin loose like Chuck Brown to get that dough
Most of y'all could tell, I come from the ghetto
Eight blocks from flushin metal where my family settle
Got Chinese, Korean, Asian
Used to link up with Nas, from Corntop Choice, for female persuasion
Bustin off in the park, that was in the dark
I'm real not fake so please don't pretend to part
I'm lettin it start, the glamour the bucks
Gotta get mine, cuz beef got stamina and guts
Plus the phat beat, plus the rhyme plus the cuts

THAT's ether :lol

How is that ether, check the facts:

I'm one of that forum's best posters, and most well appreciated posters.

I just aired out 3 people on that board in the past week.

I still use that avatar, infact, I've made it bigger since that thread occoured.

Now, the barren feeling you get in the pit of your stomach as your parents drag your ass to church while your peers are still recovering from a night of heavy partying... take note of that feeling. That's Ether.

Ah it's working now.

Good song. But in the end, it's Nas who's sucking Jay's dick now.

Eh... I don't think that's the case. It's more of a mutual deal now. It's who they ended up with, that's where Jay-Z won.

Beyonce > Kellis

When you have to wear a condom to dig out your own wife in fear of catching something, you lost.

Nas could have gone to any other record label, but he wound up at Jay Z's doorstep. His album is going to bomb just like Mobb Deep's new G-Unit approved album. Of course, I'm sure Nas will make a great album, but he just doesn't fit with Jay'z recent signings. When Nas tries to make a party song he makes flops. When he makes "rap ballads" he flops. He does one thing and he does it really well. Jay Z can make a party song, a social song, a "gangsta" song, etc. Nas is stuck in the same place, and when he tries to do something else...

...yeah

 :lol i love that gif

Point remains: Nas is pretty one dimensional. That doesn't mean he sucks; he's amazing. But like Big L or even Papoose, he's someone who's going to rap to a particular audience and never break out, no matter if Timbaland does his beats. He's a smart street rapper, and he'll always be one.

Jay is able to touch all the bases. But Jay Z's problem lies in his manufactured hype. The ONLY person saying Jay Z is the greatest rapper ever is Jay Z.

Problem? Jay-Z is co-signed by many heavy hitters in the game. Even if he was the only person that refered to him as one of the greatest he still can make a chunk of change by presenting himself as such *cough*T.I.*cough* The only thing Jay-Z can't do is build an artist. He failed miserably with Bleek and Amil. Now he just leeches off the success of successful Southern dope boy rappers.

Also...

This forum would benefit from a Big L listening party.

and...

Papoose is the Truth. Have you heard his Law Library tracks? That's some raw shit. That single he did with Jeanie Ortega was hot too. Even my dad was feeling his verse. If you haven't been keeping up with his mixtapes get his Best Of album. Pure fire from start to finish.

Yeah, he's leeching off Jeezy and Rick Ross now. Bleek is more talented than both of them, yet he never was able to break out. Jay doesn't understand that him just having a verse on someone's single isn't enough help. Bleek has the gangsta look, the credibility, the talent, etc etc etc but he never could get big. I'm not a huge fan of his, but it's clear to me that the man is talented.

Papoose is very good. Only question with him is "can he make a hit record?"

Come on, that's bullshit. How does posting a fucking link to a song against anything in the TOS?

its a copyrighted song hosted on rapidshare, which is known for piracy, it was posted in the rules which are there for everyone to see that it is not permitted here.

Additionally he stated earlier today that he feels he is entitled to free music, so its clear he isnt on the up and up anyway. He can suffer the same fate anyone else would. I know you two have become fast friends in this rap discussion, but you need calm down.

I personally try to take care of them promptly.  Only one I remember seeing go unpunished was some idiot tool fan sharing the entire new Tool album.

My 2 cents on the situation.

Let this serve as a warning to you guys sharing rapidshare links that we'll follow the Three Strike policy in regards to copyright infringement.  The language could not be any more clear.  A couple of people have asked me in confusion, so now it's spelled out.  I also have re-labeled the ToS on top so it sticks out more, so there should be absolutely no confusion on what is and what is not allowed.

MAF is right - this isn't GAF and this isn't OA.
