If someone sees 10 new movies in a year in theaters but sees 30 classics on dvd and someone else sees 30 movies in a theater but just 10 classics on dvd who is the better fan?

I can't think of 15 movies that were worth watching in the theatre last year, only one that really needed it was CoM.

There were not 15 good movies last year.

PC's have DVD players, you can watch a movie while doing something else.

I'm not going to respond to what TDS just said for I am still trying to understand it but, you become a good film fan because of your opinions and how well you discuss it.

Cinematic beacon is just a joke made up by Willco because more often then not, we agree on films. So for that, I was his "cinematic beacon", guiding him to what movies he may like. But I threw him with The Matador, and since then, THINGS HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME *cue sappy music*

Also, I still am surprised that Willco didnt like The Matador. I still love it.

Where did I brag? I stated a fact, no more, no less. We both love the Spider-Man movies, both loved Casino Royale, KKBB, and so on. Its not 100% of the time, but we've probably agreed about 80% of the time about general movie stuff.

Ah, Casino! Yes, we should bump that to 90%, lolz. Also, I love Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, and am incredibly worried for S-M3. So theres more adding to the 90%.

My best theatre EXPERIENCE of 2006 was hands down POTC2. The crowd was insane.

I went on the Saturday after it opened, with a large group of friends. I was surprised to see the theater was packed.

Best theatre experience EVER? I think for me it was seeing The Fellowship of the Ring around X-mas 2001. That was an unforgettable screening.

The quality of the film is well questionable obviously but the ROTS midnight showing was amazing, my top ever. Better than the TPM one at that. Everyone knew this was the last time in their lifetime they'd see a new star wars movie and went all out. Very fun.

the thing will be run dry on tv with that new live action series and you know if it does well Fox will want more. There wont be any 7-9. I'd bet good money on that.
