Basically Batman is going to be a sure thing, and I really want to see another Indy movie. Yeah it might not be great, but there's no way it'll be worse than Temple of Doom

For me, I want to see The Dark Knight and Iron Man. The cast in Iron Man sounds great, and it just seems to be a project with tons of potential.

Indy IV is going to be a disaster...The Mummy 3 will suck Rob Cohen balls...The Day The Earth Stood Still is by Spielberg too, right? It'll be shit...

Willis was good imo, as per usual. Madsen was fucking aweful, and his preformance was the only one that seemed phoned in TO THE MAX

Mickey Rourke was the only redeemable thing about Sin City, imo. He plays that character perfectly and adapted to the noir setting much better than anyone else. I typically turn the channel whenever his part ends.

Batman Begins did good about the same as Superman Returns. Not great like x-men 3 or spidey but easily enough to keep this trilogy going so I am happy with that.

Batman Begins wasn't really a huge ass blockbuster movie though; it refused to be stupid like most blockbusters, and it preformed well for what it was.

The Indy movies weren't HUGE blockbusters in the US outside of Raiders. They made a shit load of money due to the low budgets though. The was a rather large gross drop off domestically between Raiders and Temple. And Last Crusade also didn't come close to surpassing Raider's domestic gross. Worldwide of course the movies were big.

Indy IV will make 300 million without trying regardless of quality.

Lucasfilm is fucking godly at hyping a film and getting out amazing trailers regardless of quality.

The ROTS hype machine lucasfilm put out is probably one of the best in the decade so far. The trailers were AMAZINGLY well done and the ad campaign focused on vader making it seem like it was a vader movie was damn well done.

Same for the first 2 prequels. The TPM ad campaign has yet to be topped. Lucas is a fucking good business man.
