So I called asking about returning the BROKEN Indiana Jones box set and the lady told me I can't get my money back - I can only exchange it for another item of equal value. WTF.

So what should I buy from Walmart with the $37.84 exchange?

They released them in Europe and just LAST MONTH they both were added for blu-ray release this year. Often blu-ray releases get dates much earlier(such as casino royale) even though SD-DVD releases are out the same time.

Most suspect the DVD 2-Disk verisons will be out with them.

IT should be a big deal, though -- bigger than Goodfellas. The cut you own is edited and crappy compared to the Criterion edition. The Goodfellas disc only cleans up the same transfer, puts them on one disc, and adds a second disc of "meh" features. I love the film, but its one of the lamest SE's I own. $:-\$

Uh, no, its not. The Criterion Cut is the best available cut, and the Universal cut is the one you pretty much want to avoid. Fuck White Man, both Cheebs and I know our DVDs and the Criterion version of Brazil is the "true" version you want to own.

Then explain why the universal cut is about 20 min shorter and the one gilliam does NOT approve of?

I pmed you the details. Criterion one is 146 minutes(including non-time related edits) and yours is 131 minutes.

there has been 5 cuts to the movie, the one you have is a restored cut, yes. the 4th one I believe. The 5th and final one was done FOR criterion and is gilliams personal favorite.

Well the cover art is the the same, but it doesn't feature that blue sticker. Plus towards the bottom of the box it says that it features bonus footage and is fully restored.
